“There is you see, a Spirit residing in humanity, the breath of God conferring intelligence.” (Job 32 v 8 TNJB)
The breath of God is holy,
“Supreme in power, in equity,
Excelling in saving justice, yet no oppressor.
No wonder then that people fear Him.” (Job 37 v 23, 24 TNJB)
This being the fear resulting in reverent obedience.
“Everyone thoughtful holds Him in awe.” (Cont)
The Spirit makes us family in Christ Jesus.
He shows us how forgiveness is found at His †,
According to the mercy of our all loving Father,
Ever, but ever steadfast in kindness towards us.
The Spirit is new life to us, seeking holiness.
This is the holiness offered us by the Messiah,
He who is Saviour, the King of Glory.
“Christ in us, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1 v 27)
This glory is driven by the Holy Spirit,
Who establishes, secures and maintains
A friendship of love between us and Jesus.
Jesus is our Lord, Saviour and Master,
Made known to us by the Spirit, as the living hope,
The Word of God we can understand and value.
For in the Son, we meet the Father of mercy,
And life becomes entirely changed for the better.
The edifying Spirit teaches us about the Trinity.
He helps us to see our Father as Provider and Protector,
The Lord Jesus as Saviour and Redeemer
And Himself the Spirit, as Life Giver and Sanctifier.
How much richer we then become spiritually.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4 v 6 NIV)
“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory!” (Psalm 57 V 7, 8)
“I will praise You, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations. For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens and Your truth to the clouds.” (v 9, 10)
Dearest Father, ever I will praise and thank You for granting us a Saviour in Your beloved Son, our King of Glory. Also You gift us the Spirit given desire to become holy.
“Be exalted O God, above the heavens. Let Your glory be above all the earth,” (v 11) very evident in our response to Your love and mercy as manifest in Jesus, and made personal for us by the Holy Spirit.
May the Spirit of love, Your Spirit, the Lord Jesus’ Spirit, residing in us, consecrate us to Christian service offered in the love we are so richly blessed to benefit from and thrive by, knowing hope, peace and joy as Your gifting.
Let us consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart of our Saviour, each day giving Him our time, our desire, our decisions, our plans, our actions so as to love, honour and glorify the Holy Trinity, seen as the mercy of holy
love.
May the Holy Spirit make Christian service our unchanging intention, underlying every action done in all love for each other, by which means we offer our love to the Holy Trinity.
Let us renounce all that is unworthy, unchaste, futile, dishonourable, self-centred, any weakness or inconstancy, fault and failings.
Thank You that the Holy Spirit show us the love of Jesus as shown at the †, atones for our all too many faults, failings and strayings. In Jesus is our refuge.
Thank You too, that the Spirit evidences the heart of goodness within Jesus, the Sacred Heart as it is, our justification as we ask for mercy, hoping to escape punishment.
Weak in our sinfulness, yet by the Spirit we hope for, put our confidence in, and trust upon the mercy of holy love’s generosity forging and rebuilding life for us.
May the Spirit cast out all that displeases You, holy Father, all that is an offence and distresses You, dismays You. For out of merciful love You have done all that we need for restoration.
May the Spirit of praise ever remind us to offer all thanks for the †of Jesus, whereby through forgiveness, we need no longer be separated from You. All our hope is in the Trinity, where we find such peace and joy as in our truest, highest happiness.
The Holy Spirit making us brothers and sisters of Jesus, as Saviour, oh what a joy! We are protected safely, can combat the enemy prayerfully and know that, dearest Father, through Your Son much happens, all for
good.
You work for the good of Your family, the Spirit inviting us to draw close to our Saviour Brother, His love being perfect. Then all of life’s circumstances are carefully looked after, moving us day after day towards the final resting place of heavenly joy.
How richly blessed we are, the Spirit of Jesus residing in us as the Master shows us the truth to live by and the way we exhibit this through love, just love which is merciful. Remaining close to Jesus in the Spirit, frees
us from sin.
May the Holy Spirit ever grant us a life of holiness, lived in the holiness of purity, of reflection, decision, and deed, as all undertaken in the Lord Jesus, evil no longer preventing this because we pray and work for
perseverance.
This will enable us dearest Father, to thank You from the depths of our heart, as Your Spirit enfolds us in the love shown by Christ Jesus, making us His prayerful disciples, daily committed to the glorious work of the
Trinity.
Entirely happy and holy will be the godly, good results of the Spirit residing in us, so we reside in the Lord Jesus, all to Your delight, honour, praise and glory as won by the Saviour. Amen.
